Coinstar kiosks in Kroger stores can be hit or miss. Many of the stores, at least in the Columbus area, only offer the options of exchanging your coins for bills (for a fee) or letting you donate the money to various charities. The third option, getting a gift card for the full amount your loose change is worth (i.e., with no fee), is sadly missing from Coinstars in several Krogers. And then Coinstars in some other stores do have gift cards, but only a handful of brands. This location, though, has a wide variety of store and restaurant gift cards on offer, which makes it a great choice for unloading your piggy bank. The gift cards it has available are: Amazon, AMC, Applebees, Bass Pro Shops, Best Buy, Chili's, Chuck E. Cheese, eBay, Game Stop, Gap Options (valid at Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, and Athletica), Home Depot, IHOP, iTunes, Lowe's, Nike, Panera, Red Robin, Regal Cinemas, Sears, Sephora, Southwest Airlines, and Starbucks.
