Yesterday my co worker and I checked into the hotel located in Columbus Indiana Easton. When checking in we where happy until we each got to our rooms. The rooms are outdated and as I walked into my room I can hear my neighbors dogs. Every time I make a noise you can hear the dogs bark. The hallway to my room smells awful. The bed is hard as a rock. My chair in my room is broken and does not recline. I realize that my windows to my room has broken locks and I call the front desk and they say "sometimes they are just like that". At 7am the mowing crew was mowing around the hotel. When this morning to go to the conference I opened my door and the door handy literally broke and hung there, so I went to the front desk and told the front desk lady and all she says to me is "yea it happens sometimes." Our grab and go breakfast is a granola bar and coffee. I killed 4 ants in the bathroom as I got ready this morning. Just expected more! I work for a non profit and I am sad our funding went to pay for this room. I would have moved to a different hotel if they where not all full. I will be glad to leave tomorrow morning.
