Gaswerks in Columbus, Ohio

This is definitely a college bar that can get packed and rowdy at times. I was there Friday and it was not too crowded. The bartenders were quite good. They were attentive and made fast, accurate drinks. I was impressed. Also prices range from reasonable to dirt cheap. $1 red bull and vodka can't be beat. Be careful with the ramps to outside as they are easy to trip over when walking perpendicular to them. These should have yellow tape on the perimeter for safety- basically a lawsuit waiting to happen. It is quite concerning however to see the large amount of people saying they were rejected for a dress code when wearing things like white button up shirts and ties or solid color shirts. The sheer volume of these complaints indicates that this is not a one time occurrence. I could see keeping gangbangers out, but why reject your average person for looking too good? This isn't a chop house or even a classy bar. Not really sure what the issue is here...
