Forward Carson Meyer, who made his NHL debut this past season with the Blue Jackets, has signed a one-year, two-way contract extension with Columbus. Former Ohio State Buckeye Carson Meyer is going to remain with Columbus. The Blue Jackets have signed the right wing to a one-year, two-way (NHL/AHL) contract extension. Meyer, 24, was drafted by the Blue Jackets in the sixth round, No. 179 overall, in 2017. He made his NHL debut this past season and posted one goal and two assists for three points with six penalty minutes, 13 shots on goal and 27 hits in 13 games.
