Forbes has named Columbus one of the top places for young professionals to live in the country. The Columbus metro area ranked No. 4 and was joined by two other Ohio cities: the Cincinnati area ranked No. 5, and the Cleveland area ranked No. 20. Six Midwestern metro areas are a part of the top 10 best places for young professionals. The list is based on median home prices, estimated monthly mortgage payments, unemployment rates and median income. According to Forbes, Columbus' median home price is $284,700, and its estimated monthly mortgage payment is $1,619.
