COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — The Ohio Black Expo returned to Columbus this weekend celebrating community and culture. "This is the second year that we're back here in person in Columbus and this is our permanent home every year memorial day weekend at Geno Park," Shakayla Burris, senior event manager for the Ohio Black Expo, said. The organization was founded 30 years ago, Burris said. The in-person festival returned last year for the first time in three decades. The Ohio Black Expo includes a weekend-long cultural festival, a week full of events, and year-long programming.
