The Ohio Black Expo is expected to see pre-pandemic attendance in its second consecutive year returning to Columbus fully in person. Expo leaders said this year they expect to see 30,000 attendees and an economic impact of $1 million May 25-28 in downtown Columbus. Tickets cost $75 to $95 and the event's proceeds will be directed to help fund youth and community programming. Expo President and CEO Sherri Hamilton said the event supports and grows black and minority businesses. Back to its roots Created as the Columbus Black Expo in 1981, founder Rhonda Robinson quickly discovered its statewide reach and changed its name to the Ohio Black Expo.
