First lady Jill Biden will be in Columbus Wednesday afternoon to officially kick off the region's selection as one of five hubs nationwide meant to fully turn the multibillion-dollar investments being made in the region into good jobs. Biden will meet with local officials and other stakeholders as part of the launch of what is being called the Investing in America Workforce Hub. The event will be held at Columbus City Hall and will highlight initiatives by the city of Columbus, Columbus State Community College, local employers and unions.
